Founded in Emmons, Minnesota by Allan and Linda Larson, Larson Contracting is a commercial industrial general contractor excelling in all aspects of design-build construction projects.

Starting with just eight employees in 1977, the Larson Contracting staff now numbers approximately 120 employees, some of whom have been with the company since it began. It is this kind of dedication from within that carries over to each new project and has been instrumental in creating a reputation for high quality work, on time and within budget. In 1979, the Larson’s became a building distributor for Butler Manufacturing Company, the premier manufacturer of pre-engineered building systems in the United States. Realizing the tremendous growth potential in the upper midwest, the company was relocated to Lake Mills, Iowa in 1982. A branch office can be found just across the state line in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
